"LonelyFans" was a song that came quite quick to me. I wanted a song with a fake vibraphone in it. I wrote a song called "Forever Full of Lies". I went with "LonelyFans" instead.
lyrics
LonelyFans
You sit there feeling lost
wishin' somebody had found you
Dressed in black
with a bottle of Jack
and nobody else around you
You remember an old friend
and feel a bit unwielded
Cuz it's a wonder
you still recall their number
But you hung up as soon as you dialed it
Every country every continent
Every town and every settlement
They feel like they're the only
ones who are lonely
we all want to be that one who is someone
Billions of lonely people that miss someone
You turn to online porn
just to feel some friction
It's not eroticism
or an instant dose of jism
it's compulsions that spark the addiction
Because all the happy people
They all always stare at us
Went from dates on Tinder
to rings on fingers
and their everchanging relationship status
But every burrough every island
there are lonely people smilin'
Cuz they aren't the only ones
who are lonely ones
We're together alone
Simultaneuously on our own
You sit there oh so lost
and still nobody's found you
Steamy and wet
Like an island you get
A sea of loneliness to surround you
You talk to yourself
And you can't can't bring yourself back to life
But I guess
that loneliness
has simply become a fact of life
Every county every city
the image isn't pretty
But you're not the only
one who are lonely
and words do mean much
But not as much as human touch
And it's not just you
There's so many of us that are lonely too
